Alsem (Artemisia absinthium), Wormwood or Pelyněk pravý, has a narcotic effect and gives a peaceful feeling of contentness. In combination with alcohol or in large quantities it may also have visual effects. The famous Czech drink Absinth derives its name from it. Let the dried herb soak a couple of days in strong alcohol before drinking a glass of the filtered liquid.


Calamus (Acorus calamus) or Puškvorec obecný, has a stimulating and refreshing effect, and brings a positive influence on the Libido. It is also refreshing and improves memory. High dosages can result in a euphoric and mind-expanding effect. Dissolve some of the powder in hot water or let a higher dosage boil 20 minutes in water before drinking.


Catmint (Nepeta cataria), Catnip or Śanta kočičí, is a relaxing herb. After drinking a strong tea, it gives a pleasantly relaxed feeling and stimulates imagination. The tea is actually really tasty. Cats seem to love this herb, as they get pretty excited about it. Use as tea.



Damiana (Turnera afrodisiaca) or <Damiána, is an herb with a mild aphrodisiac effect. It enhances the metabolism and has a positive effect on the blood-circulation. You can smoke the dried herb, or combine it with strong alcohol.




Kola nut (Cola nitida) or Kola lesklá, is a strong stimulator. Very similar to caffeine, it is stimulating and inhibits sleep. The psychoactive effect, however, is different. Kola nut makes you very lively, talkative and enhances concentration. Stamina increases and hunger seems to disappear. Mix a teaspoon with a drop of water and add juice to it before drinking.


Ginseng (Panax ginseng) or Žen-šen, has been used since millennia against symptoms of aging, for an increase in vitality and general resistance. It keeps one young and gives energy. Mix a teaspoon with a drop of water and add juice to it before drinking.



Guarana (Paullinia cupana) enhances concentration and stamina. It is an excellent alternativ to coffee. It works milder, but at the same time more prolonged, while easier on the stomach. Mix a teaspoon with a drop of water and add juice to it before drinking.


Hydrocotyl (Centella asiatica), Gotu Kola, Pupečník asijský or Fo-ti-tieng is energising, cleansing, nerv-soothing, strengthens resistance and increases virility.





Muira Puama (Liriosma ovata) is an aphrodisiac with a stimulating effect on the central nervous-system and the libido. It is very suited to give love-life a special impulse.





Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) or Mučenka pletní, has a pleasantly relaxing and calming effect. In larger quantities, it has a more hypnotic effect. Passionflower is a MAO-Inhibitor!




Skullcap (Scutellaria galericulata) or Šišák stranokvětý, is an excellent relaxing and nerve-soothing herb. For its relaxing effect, use as tea. You can also use it when you feel tense, inner unrest, and for a deep and healthy sleep. You can also smoke it.



Tranquilitea contains several different herbs and flowertops with a pleasant smell and taste. Contains: Raspberry leaves, Red Clove, Rose petals, Peppermint leaves, Marigold and Honey Clove.




Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is known for its calming and relaxing properties, which makes it an excellent alternative to chemical tranquilizers.




Yerba Mate (Ilex paraguariensis) has a stimulating effect as it refreshes the body and soul and, in higher doses, suppresses the feeling of hunger. Mate contains a large scale of vitamins, amino acids and spore-elements. The most important substance is mateine, which is similar to caffeine but without the side effects (such as trembling), making Mate a sublime alternative to coffee.
